Living Presence Sensor Radar Sensing Smart Lighting

Application of Living Body Presence Sensor Radar Sensing LED Lamp Intelligent Lighting,Radar (RADAR) is a radio detection and distance measurement. Radar is mainly composed of transmitter, transmitting antenna, receiver, receiving antenna, signal processor and display (external). The electromagnetic energy generated by the radar transmitter is transmitted to the transmitting antenna. Transmitting antennas radiate this electromagnetic energy into the atmosphere, forming radar electromagnetic waves that travel forward. When the target is close to the radar antenna, the frequency of the reflected signal will be higher than that of the transmitter; conversely, when the target is farther away from the antenna, the frequency of the reflected signal will be lower than that of the transmitter. In this way, by changing the frequency value and processing by the signal processor, the relative movement speed of the target and the radar is calculated, and then the position of the target and the shape of the movement track are identified.


In many cases, we will be using devices that need to detect human motion, so people's first instinct is to use human body infrared sensors or photoelectric switches. Now we use live presence sensor radar sensing which is very easy to use and cheap. The principle is to detect the microwave generated by the movement of the object, which can perform indiscriminate detection of the movement of people, animals or objects. The operating frequency of the radar of the living body presence sensor is generally fixed at 5.8GHz, plus or minus 75MHz. The specific process is as follows.

(1) Start-up - After the sensor is powered on, the oscillator circuit in the sensor will automatically generate a frequency of 5.8GHz, plus or minus 75MHz, which we call the local oscillator frequency.

(2) Amplify the local vibration frequency as an electromagnetic wave carrier, and emit electromagnetic waves into the air through a high-frequency tube (or antenna).

(3) After the electromagnetic wave received and transmitted is reflected by surrounding objects, it is selected by the frequency selection network of the oscillator. Compared with the original 5.8G frequency, the difference signal is used as the basic signal for self-test (surrounding environment detection).

(4) When a moving object appears around, the reflected electromagnetic wave is analyzed by the circuit, which is different from the basic signal during self-checking. At this time, the signal is used as the basis of the trigger signal, and the sensor outputs the control signal.
